This project was part of the city’s downtown building improvement Initiative which began with a re-branding of a well established jewellery store business’s image and identity. The project involved a new exterior facade to an existing two storey building along with interior renovations to the store. Whereas the previous storefront was only at street level, the new design involved a two storey solution in order to improve the business’s presence within the surrounding commercial street-scape. Materials consisted of curtain wall glazing and fibre cement panels in a sleek dark neutral grey. An automated roll-up shutter provides added security.
