This project was part of the city’s downtown building improvement initiative which began with a re-branding of this well established jewellery store’s business image and identity. A new exterior façade was developed for the existing two-storey building as well as the design for interior renovations to the store. While the previous storefront was only at street level, the new design involved a two-storey solution in order to improve the business’s presence within the surrounding commercial streetscape. Materials consisted of curtain wall glazing and fibre cement panels in a sleek dark neutral grey and an automated roll-up shutter provides additional security.
