Discovery
Each project begins by getting to know our client and understanding their vision. We review existing information, drawings, plans, etc., identify desired program elements and establish project goals and functional needs through regular meetings and collaboration.
Exploration
Using the results of our initial discovery, we create an options analysis that results in a preliminary physical plan and technical briefs that guide the design. On-going collaboration with the client refines the design, eventually leading to an approved direction with conceptual site plans, floor plans, building elevations and 3D perspective views.
Development
Once the preferred option is selected, we further refine and develop the design into its final version while continuing to collaborate with the client and stakeholders to get every detail right. As a result, we will have completed a renderings package that clearly demonstrates the finished product and documents that provide a roadmap for construction.
Implementation
In the implementation part of our process, the project becomes a reality. Through high-quality construction documents, assisting with tendering and monitoring construction, IDEA follows through on the project to its satisfying conclusion for all parties involved. We make any project we hand-off to the client one we are proud to have been involved in.
