The Sault Ste. Marie International Bridge Crossing is operated by the International Bridge Administration (IBA), and owned by Federal Bridge Corporation Ltd. (FBCL) and the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). This project involved the redevelopment of the Canadian Bridge Plaza and
includes the redevelopment of buildings and site to accommodate CBSA Commercial and Traffic operations, IBA Maintenance and Sand Storage buildings, FBCL Site Offices, and a new Duty-Free Store.
The only border crossing facility connecting Ontario and Michigan for 800km.
