The Thousand Islands International Bridge crosses the St. Lawrence River between the province of Ontario and the state of New York, utilizing a series of bridges which span numerous islands. This project consists of the redevelopment of the existing site and buildings to the extent necessary to achieve an effective Customs and Immigration operation to serve CBSA, FBCL and TIBA well into the future. In general, the project included replacement of CBSA traffic and commercial facilities with new buildings, new primary and secondary Inspection facilities, new TIBA/ FBCL facility, and a new water treatment facility for sanitary and storm sewers.
