The Sault Ste. Marie International Bridge Crossing is operated by the International Bridge Administration (IBA), and owned by Federal Bridge Corporation Ltd. (FBCL) and the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). This project involves the redevelopment of the U.S. Toll Plaza to accommodate the Port Authority’s future needs and provides collateral benefits to the neighboring CBP operations. IDEA Inc. was commissioned to provide Master Plan and architectural design services for the redevelopment of the U.S. Toll Plaza, which included the Administration, Maintenance and Toll Booths complete with canopy, and underground service tunnel.
