This project originally incorporated a three-storey, 56,000 sq ft facility, with the possibility of adding two additional storeys in the future. The building is a combination of office and laboratory
space with a core entrance linking them together. With the new laboratories and corporate headquarters situated adjacent to
their demonstration plant, IOGEN can provide real-time R&D into the cellulosic ethanol process. This process uses advanced technology to make ethanol from biomass. It combines innovations in pre-treatment, state-of-the-art enzyme technology and advanced fermentation technology.
