The Northern Community Centre began with a feasibility study, master plan, and business case analysis that established a market demand for the City’s first indoor turf facility, additional ice pads, and a new library. IDEA developed a full master plan for the site that anticipates two implementation phases for both building and outdoor recreation facilities. The first phase is now complete, and includes three indoor turf facilities, dressing rooms, concessions, and a library. The second phase will include two ice pads, spectator seating for 1,000, community amenity space, a food court, and administration offices.
