This project consolidated and expanded the University’s Biology Department. The scope of work involved the renovation of an existing laboratory building to meet current standards, and construction of two new lab/administration buildings.
The project was organized as a joint venture with Shore Tilbe Irwin & Partners of Toronto. Teeple Architects were also associated with the original design team for the first phase, consisting of a new building containing labs, offices and support facilities. The Phase II building consisted of teaching labs and offices. Phase III consisted of renovation to an existing facility to contain labs and offices and a complete rehabilitation of the building’s cladding.
